Made this yesterday, it was the first time I’ve sewn in a month. I’m in the middle of AP testing so I’ve had no time lately. But when it’s over I’ll be posting again, and especially during the summer.

Sorry for this short time of absence! I’ve been really busy with school and friends lately, but I hope to be able to make something to post sometime in the next week or two.
crazyemilyyy asked: christine you are soooo talented oh my baby jesus <3 just beautiful! miss you girl <3
Aww thank you Emily! I miss you too :) I’m going to send you a message right now actually.
michaelawonton asked: Christine--your creations are awesome! I'm so proud of you. Go to fashion school already!
Aw thank you Michaela! :) Haha I actually am determined to study biology, I know it sounds weird to say that I’m interested in med school rather than fashion school but sewing and other arts are only my hobbies! Thank you for such a nice comment though!
backyardgoldmine asked: Hi, do you think you could make a tutorial for the lace dress you're making?
Hi! I’m really sorry, but since everything is my own from the design to the pattern, I would rather not make any tutorials so I can keep it my own. I’m sure there are many other blogs out there that can show you some nice simple tutorials though! I’m sorry, but thank you for the interest in my blog! <3
nellabellaboo asked: I don't have a serger, so I'm always afraid of making clothes because a seam by a sewing machine has ZERO stretch, and it makes it so easy to just pop em open while putting it on :(
Hm I guess so, I find ways to work around it and I usually don’t have a problem with it because I rarely use stretchy materials anyway. I’m sorry though, I don’t pretend to be an expert on these things!! I really only experiment :)
kabrina-khaleesi asked: you said you dont use a serger, how do you keep the inside seams neat and not fraying without a serger? also, do you have any tips on sewing lace? wouldn't the needle go through the lace holes?
I use a French hem. And not really, I’ve never found myself having any particular difficulties with lace! I mean, the needle will make holes in the fabric anyway, so it’s essentially going through holes already in the lace… But like I said, I’ve never had problems with lace.
nellabellaboo asked: do you use a serger? or are you able to do all of this with only a sewing machine?
I don’t use a serger, although my mom has an old one that I will eventually experiment with!
carlicraaze asked: Awh/: Well, it's okay! Continue what you're doing, you're really great (: I'm glad I found your blog! Definitely an inspiration for creativity. <3
Thank you :) I will! That’s so great to hear, I’ll keep trying to consistently update my blog.
carlicraaze asked: I love your clothes<3 Is there a way you can make me a dress, & I send you money for it? That would be amazing.
Thank you so much! Sadly I really only make clothes for myself and have not yet learned how to use measurements, only fittings. But it makes me really happy to know that there are people interested in what I make! I’m sorry, but thank you! <3
