Made this yesterday, it was the first time I’ve sewn in a month. I’m in the middle of AP testing so I’ve had no time lately. But when it’s over I’ll be posting again, and especially during the summer.
My Creations
Hi! My name is Christine, I'm 16 and this is where I post pictures of things I've designed and sewn.
My mom and grandma taught me the basics, but I've taught myself how to sew everything else that I've made. I never use patterns, so everything is by my design. I'm not in any way an expert; sewing is just something I have fun with and a way for me to be creative.

Aw thank you Michaela! :) Haha I actually am determined to study biology, I know it sounds weird to say that I’m interested in med school rather than fashion school but sewing and other arts are only my hobbies! Thank you for such a nice comment though!

Hi! I’m really sorry, but since everything is my own from the design to the pattern, I would rather not make any tutorials so I can keep it my own. Hm I guess so, I find ways to work around it and I usually don’t have a problem with it because I rarely use stretchy materials anyway. I’m sorry though, I don’t pretend to be an expert on these things!! I really only experiment :)

I use a French hem. And not really, I’ve never found myself having any particular difficulties with lace! I mean, the needle will make holes in the fabric anyway, so it’s essentially going through holes already in the lace… But like I said, I’ve never had problems with lace.

I don’t use a serger, although my mom has an old one that I will eventually experiment with!
